Instructions

   

Put 'n' hunters into empty fields of the diagram, such that every animal can be reached by exactly one hunter. The hunters can shoot from their place up to 2 fields, horizontally, vertically and diagonally. No hunter may be able to shot an other hunter.

In the example 2 hunters are searched.
